For Easter we went to cold and snowy Star Valley for the annual Easter egg hunt! It was cold and blowing and they still have lots of snow!! We had the little kids egg hunt inside since it was sooo cold. They still had lots of fun running around finding their color of eggs filled with goodies!

(They were too anxious to find their eggs so I didnt get a very good picture but it looked a lot like getting ready to open presents on Christmas- and they were probably almost as excited!)

(Emily guarding the prizes to make sure that nobody took her special ones!)
The "big" kids then got to do their egg hunt outside in the blowing snow, not to mention the already 2 feet of snow that was on the ground! It made it hard for my dad to hide the eggs so there were lots in plain site. It was really cold!! Dillon was the lucky one that found the "big" egg in the hay this year!
(It was a lot colder then it looks and I dont remember it being that sunny but maybe that is because there was too much snow blowing in your face!)
(Heidi trying to get Dawson to do a snow angel before coming in the house)
The little kids then colored Easter eggs! (Thanks Lyndi for letting Dawson have some too!)

Most of the rest of the weekend was spent fighting over who was cuddling one of these two sweethearts...

(I am sooo glad that they are doing so awesome and were able to come too! They have come so far and are doing amazing considering how they started their earthly journey!!)
Or watching the hunting channel, playing the WII, or doing this...

Okay so this last thing was only Bill and Dawson but they still had fun!
On Sunday we headed back to Preston to do another egg hunt with the Miller family.

(This was Dawson's "smile" for the camera!)

It was a great weekend with being able to see almost all of both our families. We only missed Cody, Doug, Jenny, and Dresden! It was great to be able to see and spend time with everyone and now we have too much candy in the house!

Thanks for sharing those pictures Nicole!! It is so much fun to see how big all of the kids are getting! Missing activities like this is the biggest reason that I do not like living so far from family. It looks like everyone had a great time!
I also loved the pics of Dawson and "Dodrik". They are so cute together!
And last but not least, thanks for taking such great care of Chloee. I really miss her and I'm glad to know that you guys are so good to her. It looks like her hair is getting longer. I always liked it long.
excuse me...i was not guarding the prizes. makes me sounds greedy lol
Nicole,
Happy late Easter, and RRRREEAALLY late birthday. Hope they both were awesome!

Love the pics and updates Nicole. Sorry the weather was so crappy but just remember the memories! What a wonderful weekend, the only thing that would have made it better was to have Cody with us.
