We are finally back home again! We have traveled many many miles and slept on one of the worst beds in our lifes, and are glad to be home again. We headed out for Sacramento, CA on the 13th after Bill got off work to do a trade show for the lodge. I think we left Preston at about 4:30pm. We drove to Elko, NV and spent the night. The next day we got up and drove the rest of the way to Sacramento with a short stop at the Cabela's in Reno. Dawson turned 2 on the first day of the show! We spent almost a week in Sacramento and then headed for Puyallup, Washington to do another show. Since we did the drive all in one day we had a full day before the show started so we went to the Cabela's in Lacey, WA. That Cabela's was a lot better then the one in Reno. We were in Puyallup a week and then headed home! We traveled a very big circle!
It is a good thing that Dawson travels so well. We are very blessed! I don't think we would be going with Bill if he didn't do so well. 12-13 hour days in the car are long days and Dawson did great! (To bad he couldn't do that well at the trade show!)
Dawson didn't like to sit and play in the booths, so we would take turns staying at the hotel with him, give him his nap and then head to the trade show at about 4-5pm. That way we only had 3-4 hours walking around. We are just glad that we only have 1 more long drive for a trade show and that Grandma and Grandpa Miller are doing the rest!

What a guy! Looks like you were packed pretty tight! Does Bill plan the shows around the different Cabella's? Just checkin. COME SEE US!!!!!!!
It's so good you only have one kid it would be hard to decided which one to take if you had more! You are packed so tight! I love his smile! I just can't believe that he will sit in the car and be so happy about it.
Glad you made it home safe! You are so lucky that Dawson is a traveler! Just wait till you have 2 kids, you'd rather shoot yourself in the foot than take them in the car for long! All they want to do is fight!!! Just a little peek into the future for you!
I think in the first pic of Dawson he thought he was going to Grandma's in Wyoming and in the second one he must have cried himself to sleep when he found out you were going the wrong way! LOL
