Alaska

It is hard to believe that this summer is already gone. It seemed liked we didn't get to spend as much time in Alaska this year, it just went too fast!

We started off the summer by heading to Alaska with ALL of the Miller's! There were 30 of us on the flights together. We even got our own boarding on the plane in Boise since we were such a large group!

Isn't Austin the cutest thing?!? We were playing with cars as we waited FOREVER for them to get the rental vans since we had to stay overnight in Seattle. After our overnight stay in Seattle and a VERY early morning to make our flight, we fianlly all made it! Once in Petersburg we got all 31 people and luggage on the boats and headed out to see the LeConte Glacier.
Jack loved to sit with Grandma on the boat.
The LeConte Glacier

It was very pretty and there were lots of Seals with their pups. It was a lot of fun!
Bills helpers driving the boat for a few minutes.

The next few days were filled with a picnic at the beach, a fishing trip to Warren Island (not an easy thing with 31 people on a boat and lots of us getting sea sick!),  hanging out at the lodge, fishing around the lodge, putting down shrimp pots and pulling them, some visiting El Capitan Cave, and just being able to spend a few days enjoying each others company!

It was great to be able to spend a few days all together in Alaska!

And since my computer is in an extreme need of finding someone to fix it and it has taken me 3 days to get this far in this post, I will finish our summer fun in another post in a few days! Gotta love computers!
