Camera

I am looking at different small, point and shoot cameras. I am in need of a new one and fast! I need to take it on my cruise in about a week! I really really liked my old Nikon Coolpix but am not reading very good reviews on them now. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ones that they love or don't like? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
